Blending movement and technology, Recovery is a multimedia solo piece inspired by a woman’s struggle with addiction. The work culminates in a “rebirth” where she finds a more purposeful calling in helping others live, move forward and heal. Following the performance, the audience will be asked to join a talk back with Johari Mayfield, BIGVISION and Gay & Sober where we will address the opioid crisis, what it means to heal, and how legal drugs have led to lethal consequences.
General Admission: $20
Running Time: 50 minutes

Each day in NYC, about 3 people die from a drug overdose. Naloxone is a medication that reverses overdoses from opioids such as heroin and prescription painkillers. Whether you know someone affected by this or not, be apart of the movement to prevent overdoses.
Before the training, join us in conversation with experts in the health and substance abuse fields to provide a framework for the training.
Training will include information about the opioid epidemic, the Good Samaritan Law, as well as certification.
