LOST in DEL VALLE
A NEW PLAY WRITTEN AND PERFORMED BY
NED VAN ZANDT
DIRECTED BY AMIR ARISON
Please join us for an excerpt of the upcoming Off Broadway play Lost in Del Valle — written and performed by Ned Van Zandt — whose Zelig-like life has placed him in Warhol’s factory, Chaka Khan’s living room, and the Chelsea Hotel on the night of Sid and Nancy’s demise.
A drug-addled actor finds himself locked up in Del Valle, a Texas state prison — he is suddenly recognized from his appearances on All My Children, and offered protection from the Junior Grand Dragon of the Aryan Brotherhood in exchange for acting lessons.
A true tale of survival, sobriety, and the power of Art. You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried.
